Squires’ Court Playground

Younger children can climb turrets, swing across zip lines, play in the sand pits and plunge down the slides of the Squires' Courtyard Playground at Leeds Castle.

Parents can relax and watch as their children play independently and in safety. All they need is lots of imagination for hours of fun! This accessible playground is designed for children 6 years and under.

April - September: 10am to 5pm

October - March: 10am to 4pm (closed in icy conditions)

Knights' Realm Playground

Discover The Knights' Realm Playground, a huge adventure playground modelled on the design of Leeds Castle and built entirely in wood.

Children can let off steam through a scale model of the Castle, with opportunities to climb the Maiden’s Tower, scale the revetment wall, joust along an aerial runway, cross the perilous bridge between the New Castle and Gloriette and explore the secret tunnels. Slides, bash bags and rope walkways add to the fun.

Navigate through the spiral climbing staircase, fireman’s poles, giant tumble steps and ladders. Climb to the castle turrets which can be used as a lookout and besieged by a whole army of young visitors. Brave Knights are bound to love crawling through tunnels which feature a see-through floor!

The Knights’ Realm has been carefully constructed to offer thrills and challenges for visitors aged 7 and over, while meeting rigorous health and safety standards (ROSPA certified).

April - September: 10am to 5pm

October - March: 10am to 4pm (closed in icy conditions)
