Festival of Flowers Afternoon Tea
Take Afternoon Tea during the Festival of Flowers and be served in one of Leeds Castle's most luxurious state rooms, the Castle Dining Room, festooned in flowery finery. Enjoy a delicious menu of sumptuous treats, including a wide variety of tempting sandwiches and sweet delectable delights; from chocolate macaroons to classic home-made scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Each table will receive a small floral gift.
Before or after viewing the stunning floral displays around the Castle, the state Dining Room is a truly idyllic space for a luxurious Afternoon Tea. First transformed into a formal dining room in 1938 by Stephane Boudin, the room was regularly used by Lady Baillie for entertaining her many weekend guests. And now you too can experience this room in the same way; surrounded by beautiful tapestry and delicate porcelain. Enjoy unlimited tea and coffee as part of your Afternoon Tea package, or treat yourself to a glass of prosecco.
From just £45 per person you can arrive early to enjoy the formal gardens and everything else the Castle has to offer during your visit. Sittings will be at 1.30pm and 3.30pm Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 12pm on Monday.
