Arrive to the sight of beautiful florals, foliage and festive accessories ready for you to create into your own masterpiece.
Expert award-winning florist, Louise Roots will lead you through the day demonstrating, teaching and helping you understand the principles of what makes a breath-taking Christmas wreath.
You will gain insight into the ways florals complement each other placement, and will receive guidance as you design and create your own wreath to take away at the end of the day.
What you will experience:
- Learn from Louise Roots, a RHS Gold Medalist florist on all things floristry, including floral techniques, design elements, and the best tips on making a festive wreath
- Take away you own unique designed wreath to display at home
- The workshop starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm in the Maiden’s Tower
- Refreshments are complimentary (lunch is not included)
About Louise Roots:
Louise Roots is a multi RHS Gold Award winning floral designer. She is experienced in leading a large team of florists designing flowers for over 100 weddings, corporate functions and events every year.
Louise’s former prestigious role as Leeds Castle’s Head Florist, has gained her vast experience and she is now acknowledged as one of Kent’s finest wedding florists. Now having her own business, Louise has maintained the position of Leeds Castle’s recommended florist. Her work has also included leading the concept, design and delivery of the Leeds Castle Festival of Flowers.
Flowers create a significant part in creating an atmosphere for an event or it is a perfect way of personalising your home.

Participants must be an admission ticket holder. Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Centre upon arrival, or in advance via our website leeds-castle.com/visit. If you book your admission tickets 48 hours ahead of your visit, you will automatically receive an early bird discount.
