As a royal court during the Middle Ages, Leeds Castle near Maidstone, Kent was a venue known for its exceptional hospitality over the centuries, including our seven historic queens and their guests.
During the 1930s, Lady Olive Baillie transformed the Castle to host society’s finest, leading politicians and even Hollywood’s finest including Charlie Chaplin, Errol Flynn, Winston Churchill, and even a young J.F. Kennedy, future president of the United States.
When Lady Baillie completely restored and modernised Leeds Castle in the 1930s, she made sure her guests received the very latest in comfort and the highest standard of service. We’ve kept that tradition to this day with Leeds Castle now available for everyone to enjoy.

Maiden’s Tower
Summer Barbeques
£65 + VAT per person (12pm to 4pm)
£85 + VAT per person (7pm to 11pm)
Set on a moated island in one of the most unique venues in Kent.
Entertained in a former royal historic palace set in 500 acres of beautiful parkland.
The Maiden’s Tower is a private 16th-century venue on the historic Castle Island, with its own garden, function rooms and 5 beautiful en-suite bedrooms.
Room hire between 12pm to 4pm for lunch and 7pm to 11pm for evening.
Enjoy chicken skewers, homemade beef burgers and Cumberland sausages, corn on the cob, field mushrooms and mini jacket potatoes, served with a selection of salads and desserts.
The offer runs from the beginning of July to the end of August and is for lunch or evening hire.
For private parties from 50 – 100 guests.
Overnight accommodation in the 5 Maiden’s Tower bedrooms is possible for evening functions at an additional cost of £335 per double bedded room including breakfast.
24-hour meetings must consist of a minimum of 50 and maximum of 100 delegates.
Monday to Thursday only.

Have yourself a Leeds Castle Christmas. Celebrate the festive season with your clients and colleagues by hiring Leeds Castle, The Maiden’s Tower or the Fairfax Hall for your company’s Christmas party.
The perfect venue for private Christmas parties in Kent and only an hour from London.
- Fairfax Hall from £80 + VAT per person. Min 100 and Max 200 guests. Includes a reception drink on arrival, 3 course dinner, DJ and room hire from 7pm until Midnight.
- Maidens Tower from £99 + VAT per person. Min 50 guests and Max 80. Includes a reception drink on arrival, 3 course dinner and room hire from 7pm until Midnight.
- The Castle from £115 + VAT per person. Min 50 guests and Max 100 Includes a reception drink on arrival, 3 course dinner and room hire from 7pm until Midnight
Christmas Corporate bookings must consist of a minimum of 40 delegates. Subject to availability, further terms and conditions apply.
Make a day of it
Discover Leeds Castle’s Go Ape high-wire forest adventure in the estate parkland. Climb the trees and slide across hire wires, cross rope bridges and zip wire to the ground at speed.
Take a 40-minute escorted tour of the castle’s picturesque grounds on a Segway.
Our falconer and bird presenter team can arrange private shows or hands-on experiences for those who’d like to try their hand at the ancient art of falconry.
Time your function to coincide with a special event, whether it’s a private party after the Leeds Castle Firework Spectacular or a dinner to complement the Summer Concerts.
The Castle’s scenic 9-hole, par 33 golf course offers a combination of blind tees, strategically placed bunkers and the majestic moat.
