On Tuesday 22nd November 2016 Leeds Castle in Kent welcomed Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Hon Lady Ogilvy, Patron of the Leeds Castle Foundation Trust. During the Royal visit the Princess met with designated members of Castle staff and received an update on major projects including recently re-installed Aubusson tapestries in the Castle Dining Room following two years conservation work and the restoration of a 12th century medieval hall house Battel Hall currently being converted into a hospitality venue.
Princess Alexandra last visited Leeds Castle on Wednesday 8th October 2014 when she opened the Gatehouse and Exhibition Centres in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the charitable foundation.
