Our amazing events team are working hard to get ready for this year’s Fireworks Spectacular display.
Year after year, our fireworks seasoned regulars take advantage of our top tips to make the most of the day. If you don’t know them, read below so you can join in all the excitement.
TIP 1 – ARRIVE EARLY
This is one of the most important tips to remember. Since this event is sold out, we have a lot of guests visiting each night. Whilst we have an expert car parking team in place, the roads may be a little busier than normal.
From past fireworks events, we can also expect a flurry of visitors to arrive after 4pm right up to the fireworks themselves at 5:30pm. This is the busiest time to arrive. If you arrive early, you can make the most of your ticket and enjoy wonderful activities and experiences – see more in tip 2 below.
TIP 2 – THERE’S SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST FIREWORKS
Yes, we know why you’re attending… to watch the fascinating fireworks whizz and whirl across the sky. However, there is a whole host of activities for you and your friends and family to enjoy.
You can arrive on site from 2pm to explore our extensive grounds. Head on an autumnal stroll through the Woodland Walk and Culpeper Garden. Let the little ones run wild at the playgrounds or get lost through the Maze. You can even visit our magnificent Bird of Prey Centre and witness these amazing birds swoop overhead in their amazing falconry displays.
At the event site, there’s so much for you to experience. Have a dance and sing-a-long with live entertainment from the Adam Chandler Band. Sample delicious food and drink from a tasty range of street food vendors… there’ll be something for everyone with more food trucks this year for you to choose from. Lastly, make memories with the little ones at the fairground rides.
It is going to be a great evening whatever the weather!
TIP 3 – STAY WARM AND COSY
It might be obvious but it’s very important to remember. This is an outdoor event and with the British weather unpredictable at times, it’s best to be prepared. We recommend digging out your seasoned wellies, and grabbing your waterproofs and coats just in case you need them.
We always recommend bringing a flask of your favourite hot chocolate. Better yet, purchase when you arrive as we have a selection of hot beverage drinks available to keep you toasty.
TIP 4 – DON’T RUSH HOME
This is probably the most important tip from our seasoned pros. When the fireworks end, there is usually a flurry of visitors rushing to the car park to head home.
We have an expert team in place to coordinate our car parks, however, it can get busy. The event site, with all the yummy street food, warm drinks, live music and dinky fairground will stay open until 7pm. So, stay a little longer to enjoy all the event has to offer and make the most of your experience.
TIP 5 – COME PREPARED
It might be a little muddy, so to avoid cleaning your car next week, be sure to bring a change of footwear for when you return to your car. If you do decide to rush back to your car, make sure to pick up a hot drink and snack to enjoy as you wait to leave the firework site… but remember, we always recommend you stay longer for the live music and to enjoy a more relaxing end to your evening.
TIP 6 – WE ARE SOLD OUT
We are thrilled that every year the event is a sell-out, as we love hosting you all! This means there are no tickets available for purchase on the door, so please do not try your luck as you will be turned away.
We do recommend signing up to our database as all members receive early access to event tickets before the general public sale. This way you will be the first to learn when tickets go on sale, and you can ensure your tickets are secured before we sell out!
