As part of our Festival of Craft & Design and the Sublime Sculpture Safari Trail, we are bringing the delightful outside animal world into the Castle’s Tudor Courtyard with a stunning floral experience!
This new floral display promises to be a unique and enchanting part of the festival. Set inside the Castle’s courtyard, we transport you to a magical animal jungle, where giraffes, parrots and other creatures will take over the courtyard and create breath-taking displays.
The exhibit will use faux flowers, plants, and other natural materials, with every detail carefully crafted to bring the jungle to life. Visitors can expect to see a variety of animals represented, from majestic flamingos and fierce zebras to playful pelicans and exotic birds. There will be surprises and delights around every corner, with hidden animal displays and unexpected details that will amaze and entertain visitors of all ages.
The floral experience will be a feast for the eyes, with blooming faux-flowers filling the air and the vibrant colours of the animal display creating a stunning backdrop. The Tudor Courtyard itself is a historic and beautiful location, adding to the charm and ambiance of the event.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the animal jungle from the surrounding windows of the courtyard, taking in the sights of the stunning floral displays. There will also be knowledgeable guides on hand to provide additional information and answer any questions visitors may have. With its enchanting animal exhibits, stunning floral displays, and historic location, visitors are sure to be surprised and delighted by this one-of-a-kind event.
The Floral Jungle will be designed by Louise Roots – a multi RHS Gold award-winning floral designer.
