Les Langley

Born in the Transvaal in South Africa, Les now lives in Lenham, Kent. He completed 23 years colour service with the UK Armed Forces, serving all over the world and is quite enjoying the tranquillity and peace of life in Kent with his partner Hannah. He has been carving full time since November 2012 and has a fully kitted out workshop near Harrietsham where he makes a variety of products including traditional chainsaw carvings, hand engraved signs, bowls and platters, and benches and garden tables. He also does carvings in situ and attends shows and fairs throughout the year.

Inspired by nature and the peace and tranquillity of life. All of the timber is locally sourced from tree surgeons and storm damaged trees. Les does not fell healthy tress for any of his products.
