It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year, and here at Leeds Castle we have festive celebrations that’ll have everyone dancing around the Christmas tree!
With something for everyone to enjoy, from outdoor Christmas trails across the grounds, parties and dinners in the castle, and private events in the Maiden’s Tower, you are invited to celebrate in the loveliest castle in the world.
Helen Bonser-Wilton, Chief Executive Officer at Leeds Castle, said: “With Christmas coming up fast and many planning to celebrate in style following limited activities in 2020, we are delighted to launch our Christmas calendar filled with a whole host of activities for families, friends and corporates alike, to celebrate the festive season.
“In addition to our annual dressing of the castle, which will feature grand Christmas trees in the foyer and throughout the stunning interiors, guests will experience a variety of activities, from our Twelve Days of Christmas outdoor trail and winter wonderland overnight staycations, to murder mystery dinners and traditional joiner parties. We can’t wait to welcome you to Leeds Castle this Christmas!”
From 27th November to 2nd January, step inside the popular Christmas song, as they walk through 12 different artworks representing the Twelve Days of Christmas gifts – what’s more, this experience is included in ticket admissions. Whether it be a lover’s stroll through the turtle dove arch in the woodland walk, admiring seven mirrored swans swimming on the Great Water, or banging 12 drummer’s drums by the play areas, the trail has been designed with many photo moments, interactive elements for the little ones to enjoy, and lots of sensory experiences to explore.
The castle itself will be dressed with beautiful Christmas décor. From magnificent Christmas trees placed throughout the castle, to smaller displays of the Twelve Days of Christmas, there will be lots to see and admire.
Why not make a weekend of it by booking one of Leeds Castle’s quaint holiday cottages located within the grounds for a magical getaway. Whether in the secluded Keeper’s House, which sleeps two to 10 guests and offers a cosy living area, generous sized bedrooms and picturesque views overlooking the pond. Or for larger gatherings why not add the River Lodge, which features original oak stylings and country retreat essentials, like an Aga and free-standing bath tub complete with L’Occitane toiletries.
